Foreman – Evening Shift
Tempeff Inc. is seeking a Foreman to oversee the safety, quality, and productivity of our evening production operations. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership to our evening staff, ensuring that production targets are met while upholding our commitment to operational excellence and workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Foster and uphold a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to evening production staff (shop wide) across all departments, offering guidance and support to maximize team performance.
- Execute departmental production plans, adjusting resources and workflows as needed to meet production targets effectively.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting on production metrics and performance indicators.
- Implement and sustain a clean, organized, and LEAN working environment to optimize efficiency and workflow.
- Communicate promptly and effectively regarding any issues such as equipment malfunctions, resource shortages, or accidents to the appropriate leaders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles and practices is preferred.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paces setting.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure to ensure continuous workflow.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite) for reporting and documentation purposes.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Electrical Assembler
Are you a skilled Electrical Assembler seeking a dynamic role in assembly and production? Join our team as we innovate and create cutting-edge products. As an Electrical Assembler, you’ll play a vital role in assembling electronic components for our commercial HVAC units, delivering high-quality products while upholding safety and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical damper blades, frames and panels according to specifications.
- Meet scheduled deadlines set by supervisors.
- Construct precise electrical control panels.
- Perform standard test on assembly dampers for quality assurance.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical components and materials, reporting any issues promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical equipment.
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with the imperial measurement systems (inches, feet, etc.).
- Skilled in installing electrical equipment and mechanical linkages.
- Available to work rotating shifts (days/evenings).
- Basic experience on PLC programming would be an asset.
- Sheet metal assembly experience would be an asset.
